Before joining the Moist Talkers, Doctor studied marine biology at the University of British Columbia, and oddly showed no prior interest in blaseball before joining their lineup. Her career change seemed unprecedented, but it has been theorized that she may have been brought into the Moist Talkers' fold in order to address some incredibly specialized health needs within the team's roster. Her pitching success is considered by, in that case, to have been a pleasant surprise.
