Mickey Woods plays first base for the Philly Pies.

Originally a construction worker, she was convicted of manslaughter after hitting a rock with a lead pipe into the head of a bystander while on her mandated 15-minute break. She was sentenced to five years in prison, but the Pies, taking an interest in her hitting, made a deal with the judge, a Philly native and Pies fan, for her to serve her sentence playing for the team. An additional three years was added to her sentence for her part in developing the signature Philly Pie blaseball play known as Philladeltrix: The Marquis of Pain.

Mickey has numerous tattoos, including, as a devout Quaker, the names of the Valiant Sixty on her back. She is deeply repentant for the death she caused.

When she is not playing, she lives in and serves out her sentence in the Tastykake Stadium jail (the Pienitentiary). Mickey's regular order at the Tastykake food court is well known and now available as the Number 5: Two slices of pie and a large coffee with two tablespoons of sesame oil.
