José is a werewolf, having been bitten by a rabid wolf in the parking lot of a Buffalo Wild Wings at the age of 7 and turning into a wolf on every subsequent full moon since. He hails from Cancún, and despite his Buffalo-wings related childhood trauma, his favorite wing is a buffalo wing.

He goes by the nickname "Home Run."
