Origin

The Baltimore Slun has reported that Best began life as a store mannequin. Witnessing the horrors of capitalism while unable to move or act imbued them with a deep rage and crime-thirst. It is not clear what occured that gave Best their life but witnesses report the exact moment it hapened was very clear as multiple crab legs sprung from the mannequin and destroyed the store front.

Early Life

It is rumored that Best emerged from a heavily wooded area carrying a bat, and walked in a straight line until they reached the Crabitat, though how he scaled the colossal crab guardian is unknown. Because of their preparedness, extra limbs, and air of mystery, Best was given a shot at batting practice, where a hitting coach remarked, "Wow, you're prepared and mysterious. Show me what you've got."
