An example creature from the Core

Example Creatures are cuboid life forms that live in the Core. They are approximately one meter to a side with a smooth, featureless exterior. Interestingly, although their bodies are opaque, under certain conditions one can glimpse some sort of colorful perpendicular structure beneath the surface.

Behavior

Example creatures can be found lurking in unused or undeveloped parts of the Core; F.R.O.N.T. mechanics theorize that they instinctively gravitate towards empty places where (observers agree) it seems like there should be something. They are occasionally seen smoothly sliding between a few different points or randomly moving around an area. Little is known of their nature or origin, and no evidence has been observed regarding their eating or reproductive habits.
