The Atlantean Facility for Interdimensional Studies and Hypotheses, colloquially known as AFISH, is a research center dedicated to studying the numerous anomalies of Atlantis, Blaseball, Gods, the Immaterial Plane, and ichthyology.

AFISH was originally established in ████ by the late Georgias Captain, Niq Nyong'o, and her research crew. The goal was for it to be an organized environment where fellow scientists, researchers, and analysts could foster their curiosity and hone their skills to solve the mysteries of Atlantis, together. The facility’s main headquarters is housed in an ancient Atlantean temple that has been refurbished and equipped with any equipment one could possibly need in scientific laboratory.

As time went on, the world they were familiar with grew exponentially, so AFISH grew with it. To this day, many Atlanteans find themselves drawn to the many unknowns around them and choose to lead various research excursions, experiments, and studies in their time away from playing Blaseball.

AFISH welcomes those visiting Atlantis to apply to be interns or visiting scholars at the facility. AFISH, however, is not legally responsible for any physical or mental aberrations one might undergo while researching in Atlantis.

Reports and writings from projects conceived within the facility have been made easily accessible to the public via the AFISH Global Index of Laboratory Logs, colloquially known as GILL.
