Summary

This image is a several minutes long GIF composed of static images of AI generated cat faces intended to simulate the experience of getting a random cat image for Socks Maybe's infobox, since actually getting a random cat image for the infobox every time the page is loaded is not possible with the way the wiki is designed. The first frame is 20 seconds long to give the impression that it is a static image so that a reader of Socks Maybe's wiki page will see the image, go on to read the article, and then the image will change to a new cat while they were not paying attention. Subsequent frames last varying lengths, with images where the AI generation made errors in generating a cat face lasting much less time than images that look more like real cats.
