| − | My favorite thing is working with my fellow Dale fans to create more lore about our team. Many aspects of Dale lore are couched in an air of mystery and/or hearsay. The Dale have a number of cryptids, magical beings, a shapeshifter, etc. that people have different views on. By incorporating these disparate ideas into one “fanon,” the Dale have embraced the unknowability of blaseball and cultivated a lore-voice that leans into tabloid gossip, South Florida gothic, finding humor in the mundane, and “adorable horror.” I love collaborative writing, and strongly believe that building on each other’s ideas helps us create things we never would have alone.
