Hello Garages! Similarly to the Brisket IRM proposal I put in like a month ago, I was wondering about implementing filebox IRM for Shaq in order to do a writeup of the Shaq IRM I have written fics about/drawn in several of the art pieces already on this page! A bullet point writeup of the IRM is in this doc -- I also don't know what the current etiquette on loring KLONGs is, so some of the Abelle Torres stuff will prob be left a lot more ambiguous in the actual article.

This version of Shaq uses he/they pronouns, is mixed white and Portuguese, and was raised primarily by nannies and his aunt. His abuela Abelle Torres (known KLONG), who he lost touch with as a teen, played blaseball in prehistory. He was put into a lot of extracurriculars/through private school as a kid growing up in NC, and subsequently went through a "rebellious phase", moved to Washington State for college, then dropped out to become a Twitch streamer and join the Garages. They're a trained classical pianist, but they learned drums to be in the Garages because they didn't think piano was "garage band" enough, and were particularly tight with Malik and Ollie M. before they died. They have both autism and ADHD which largely manifests as them being intensely honest/empathetic, not being able to sit still to save their life, having a hard time picking up on passive aggression, hating long sleeves for sensory reasons, and crying easily, especially when startled. Assembling gunpla and Warhammer miniatures is one of their special interests, and they were known to do so on stream on occasion.

Shaq was one of the only ghosts to visit Kennedy Loser consistently every season from 17-22! I'd like to add a little fun fact about that and how he gets on well with the Crabs (out of lore stuff, Shaq is one of the ghosts who Crabs fans know by name and say hi to in our watchparty, haha) and claims to be filling up a punch card for the Crabitat gift shop to get a free bucket hat.
