I have significant concerns with an Ethiopian woman having chosen an Italian name for herself, given the history of the two countries. I'm not entirely sure how you came to this? Ethiopia was Italy's "Designated" colony by the other colonial powers in Europe, and although they didn't have a long official presence there, it was constantly under threat from Italy and the rest of Europe until the Decolonization of Africa, especially by Mussolini.
