hey i feel like writing some NaN and jaxon stuff so here i go! i think it could be fun!

edit: forgot that i'm supposed to put a summary that the start so uh: NaN goes bigfoot hunting with jaxon, no bigfoots are found, jaxon gives a lot of humorously unhelpful advice to nan

After joining the Philly Pies' shadows, NaN was soon asked by Jaxon Buckley if they'd like to join them on a Bigfoot Hunting trip. NaN, being new to the team and generally gullible, quickly accepted (much to the relief of the pies other new transfers, as Jaxon's horse was only a two-seater, and their sidecar was in for repairs), and the pair soon set off, with Jaxon expressing excitement to have met a "real life digital data child ghost", and clarifying "don't worry, there'll be no bigfoot weed, because I think you're like a kid or something, and also I've never found any, heh".

While on their trek, Jaxon regaled NaN with tales of "the bigfoots" and other skunkapes; NaN in particular wanted to know if bigfoots echoed into Static if they ever met each other, which Jaxon reassured them "probably wasn't a huge issue for them, wood-ape microphones aren't even electric". The pair also discovered that Jaxon's bass-boosted 5.1 surround sound spirit box acted strange near the once-wyatt, leading Jaxon to reassure them that it was simply good practice for if Jaxon got haunted again, and that they always packed their backup dowsing rods just in case (even if they, unfortunately, had historically only dowsed out a Loch Ness and a family of beavers).

Though the pair never found a bigfoot (much to NaN's disappointment), they both had a good time, with NaN learning several animal tracking and cryptid research skills (which Jaxon confusingly told them would "definitely help you get your revenge on the microphone, pal"), while Jaxon left feeling they'd provided sound guidance to a troubled youth.

Let me know what you think! thoughts for revisions, etc, welcome! i'm not really familiar with NaN so let me know if I got anything off-base (lol)

hi im a wyattbrainer (i made an account specifically for this).

I actually really love this, but I would cut the wording about NaN being generally gullible (with all the weird things in blaseball that are real, why not bigfoot, right?) and also that bit about NaN fearing the bigfeet would static bc given that they were a reciever and have stayed around this long, they'd know that wasn't a worry. Maybe replace it with Jaxon reassuring NaN about some other worry?

That said, this is broadly really cute and I enjoy it.

This is an amusing entry. I like it. It's pretty humorous stuff.

That being said, there may be a policy against writing lore for a player that's in your shadows but that has not seen active play on your team. Unless that particular rule has since changed with all the wild happenings of the league. The San Francisco Lovers encountered the issue with Kurt Crueller, that despite them being a formerly active player, and even emerging from Secret Base to score us a run after a season in our shadows while still not on our active roster, we were unable to write any lore for them until they joined the active roster.

Snerkus (talkcontribs)

huh I really thought that was only for players who'd never played before, oh well

FWIW, I might be incorrect and it applies differently to Roamers. Kurt was a redacted player that then joined our shadows. Just wanted to give you a heads up JiC. Wiki rules always be changing since Blaseball goes Brr.
