Is it really so hard to say "Following the Korean conventions of naming"? Blaseball gives each character a "first name" and a "last name" but does not itself define which is which so to go "His paperwork got messed up" is a bit whitewashing of Korean culture. I know that lots of Korean families in America write their names given-name/family-name to conform to the western naming order but it's not the end of the world if they don't.
