Paul "Mall Cop" Barnes is a pitcher for the San Francisco Lovers.
Paul originally went by the name Paul ████, but was forced to change it after a series of traumatic encounters with criminals during his career as a security officer for the ████████ mall.
Paul heard his partner Knight Urlacher was starting a Blaseball team and saw an opportunity to support his lover and to start a new sports career.
