The scion of two internationally-renowned musicians, Miki Santana shocked the world by casting aside their musical birthright to follow their dreams of blaseball stardom with the Houston Spies. This caused a rift with Santana's father, but the two reconciled after the dramatic conclusion of the Spies' playoff win against the Hades Tigers in season 1, thanks to the intervention of long-time family friend Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty.
