The scion of two internationally-renowned musicians, Miki Santana shocked the world by casting aside their musical birthright to follow their dreams of blaseball stardom with the Houston Spies. This caused a rift with Santana's mother, Hatsune, but the two reconciled fter the dramatic conclusion of the Spies' playoff win against the Hades Tigers in season 1, thanks to the intervention of long-time family friend Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty.
