Mickey Woods plays first base for the Philly Pies. Originally a construction worker, she was convicted of manslaughter after hitting a rock with a lead pipe into the head of a bystander while on her mandated 15-minute break. She was originally sentenced to five years in prison, but the Pies, taking an interest in her hitting, made a deal with the judge, a Philly native and Pies fan, for her to serve her sentence playing for the team.

When she is not playing, she lives in and serves out her sentence in the Tastykake Stadium jail.

Mickey has numerous tattoos, including, as a devout Quaker, the names of the Valiant Sixty on her back. She is deeply repentant for the death she caused.
