Mickey Woods plays first base for the Philly Pies. Originally a construction worker, she was convicted of manslaughter after hitting a rock with a lead pipe into the head of a bystander. She was originally sentenced to five years in prison, but the Pies, taking an interest in her hitting, made a deal with the judge, a Philly native and Pies fan, for her to serve her sentence playing for the team.
