Matteo "Punished" Prestige is a player for the Charleston Shoe Thieves.

Prestige began playing Blaseball in the early XX's and had a somewhat notable career in The Underleagues, playing for nearly every known team, frequently simultaneously. Prestige spent their early season as a batter, before experiencing the longest streak of Hit By Pitch plate appearances in Blaseball History and declaring, in XX, that "I intend to make recompense for the grievous sins which have been done unto me." Since then they have performed as one of the Shoe Thieves' best pitchers, second only to Cornelius Games.

After performing admirably in the Season 2 Round of Eight playoffs against the Dallas Steaks to save the team from elimination, Prestige earned the nicknames "The Pledge", "The Turn", and "The".
