Blaseball History is the collection of, and scholarly discipline related to, the events, non-events, games, elections, and unhappenings of Blaseball, as well as their appropriate order and disorder in the Blaseball timeline.

Because the Blaseball timeline is non-linear, it is extremely difficult to position events within an absolute frame of reference. Within smaller windows such as individual games, or seasons, the progression of time typically has a low enough variability so as to appear fully linear, but on broader scales this kind of strict categorization becomes impossible. As such, a variety of competing viewpoints on how to appropriately conceive of causality in Blaseball exist.

That said, it is popularly believed to have been created by Tertullian Blase.
