Betsy Trombone is the starting pitcher for the Philly Pies. They are a member of the storied blaseball Trombone family along with their sibling, the late Rhys Trombone. Unlike Rhys, however, Betsy was cloned from a Cretaceous Period trombone preserved in amber found in a Peruvian mine by wealthy industrialist Reginald Trombone, the patriarch of the Trombone family.
