Shakespearianism refers to the devotion to the teaching of works by English playwright William Shakespeare and words in the English language derived from Shakespeare's works. In Blaseball, it is a player attribute.

Shakespearianism is believed to be an attribute that influences defensive capability in pitchers. It is believed to be a positive number generally between 0.0 and ~1.0.
