Season Overview

The Magic started Season 2 strong following receiving the Wind Sprints blessing. The wind propelled them to being a noteworthy team early in the season. On Day 43, they faced a shocked when batter (and Beta-era original team member) Inky Rutledge was incinerated by a Rogue Umpire. Propelled by the loss, not to mention Rutledge's replacement Duncan Phantom being a skilled batter, the Magic qualified for the Postseason.

In Round 1 of the Postseason, the Magic defeated the Atlantis Georgias in a 3-2 series. The team was scheduled to play against the Hawai'i Fridays, marking the return of the iconic Friday Night Magic series. However, an "INTERNAL ERROR" led to the Magic and the Hellmouth Sunbeams swapping places in the postseason. As a result, the Magic played in the Good Conference against the Boston Flowers, and ultimately lost in a close 2-3 series.

The Magic won the NEW Pitching Boost blessing in the Election, giving their rotation an extra one star of pitching.
