Season Overview

The Magic's blessing drought and downward spiral continued in Season 5, now accompanied by a spate of bad luck with weather. Lead-off hitter Washer Barajas suffered an allergic reaction, followed shortly by the incineration of original team member Richardson Turquoise. At the end of the season, fan-favorite star Halexandrey Walton was sent to the Unlimited Tacos by Feedback. The Magic failed to qualify for the postseason.

In the election, the Magic were filtered into the Mild Low division in a narrow 15th place finish in the ILB. The team were promptly greeted by a 3% impairment courtesy of a blessing won by the Charleston Shoe Thieves. They won no blessings themselves.
