I come bearing updates for the rogue umpire and namepire IRMs!

@Solar I’m pinging you here because this is the most relevant talk page thread - 50.307 and 36.952 (namepire and rogue umpire) are intended to have overlap. If these were the only two IRMs this page would likely be a summary IRM and not a file box. As is, these two rumors are supposed to be similar! If you could fix the revert that would be great. (edit bc ping didn’t work the first time)
Hiya! I am the original author of this IRM. It has been heavily edited from my original writing, including adding information that is not part of the IRM, removing information that was originally part of the IRM, copying text heavily from another IRM entirely, and changing most if not all of my original wording. Which is to say -- this particular Rogue Umpire IRM is in fact not supposed to overlap with Namepire as much as it currently does.
Because of this, I would like to propose that the current Rogue Umpire IRM be split into a new one, and the original text be restored to this page. If there is some rule I am unaware of about player pages being required to cover events through Season 24 or something else that the original text did not implement, I am willing to add additional information -- but the current edit is largely not in line with my original intent for the IRM.

This all sounds fine to me - thanks for going through talkpage processes and explaining what’s up! There are no rules about pages being updated, really just rules about providing advance notice about intent to make major edits, and I feel like we’re on the same page (figuratively) now so we’re all good!
No problem! Sorry about not getting in contact with you via Talk page sooner -- I wasn't able to find the right Talk page mentioning the edits at first (I may have checked pretty much every one except the correct one).
Assuming the edit is your original work, would you be willing to make that separate page and I'll revert the edit (and possibly add some new stuff, this reminded me there is some later-season info on this Coolname I forgot to update this page with) on 36.952 once you've gotten everything moved over that you need to?
That works for me! Normally the rule is waiting 24 hours before edits but TBH I can’t imagine anyone minding much these days if we just go ahead and do it, lol. I’ll move 36.952 to something new right now!
