The Greatest Canadian Flood, not to be confused with The Greatest Canadian, was a significant flood that occurred in 20██. This flood would raise water levels for most of Canada and render it inhospitable for regular humans.
Mysteriously, it did not affect any land south of the 49th parallel and is in fact imperceptible until one comes within 1km of the parallel. Consequentially, Canadian territories like Victoria were unaffected by the flood, and American territories like Point Roberts have become shelters for drylanders.
