Talk:Umpires

As the in-game umpires become a more distinct and active groups of entities, would it make sense to split umpires (TGB members) off into their own article or merge with the TGB article to avoid confusion?

I think since the Crew of Umpires is a named group with its own functions and plot importance (as well as Messages) it may be useful to make a page for them specifically to keep track of their functions. Since named Umpires (employees) have shown up in actual gameplay (such as through fireproof reverse incinerations), I'm not sure how well the Umpires (employees) can be split from Umpires (generic, gameplay).

Maybe it just gets split into umpires (beta) and umpires (coronation era)? Like how a few other pages are getting split

I like this idea. The thing that confuses me currently is unpicking the concepts of Umpires (entities), Umpires (The Game Band), Rogue Umpires, the Crew of Umpires, etc. Having two era pages would help with this imo.

Okay reading over this again and how about: — giving the crew their own page. — changing the rogue umpire section into a section about all four classes of umpire, giving rogue umpires a subheading there. — Turning the named umpires section into a table that distinguishes between in game umpires and TGB employees.

I like this solution.
