Tad Seeth the infections Meme

1
Winds (talkcontribs)

uhhh,,, ,I wrote a tad seeth lore where tad seeth is an entity created by an infectious meme, takes heavy influence from the SCP genre.

████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ WARNING. THIS FILE CONTAINS INFORMATION ABOUT A CONCEPTUALLY INFECTIOUS ENTITY EXPOSURE TO THIS FILE MAY INCREASE THE LIKELIHOOD OF BEING SUBJECTED TO THE TAD SEETH ENTITIES’ EFFECTS. ENSURE THAT YOU ARE WELL VERSED IN MENTAL DEFENSE BEFORE READING ████████████████████████████████████████████████████████

Tad Seeth is a baseball player in the ILB.

Tad seeth is an entity created by an anomalous cognitive-conceptual infection that subsumes the identity of a host in order to replicate that Tad Seeth, the infectious anomaly is referred to by its victims as “███ █████”. There have been many different host bodies for Tad Seeth, of many different appearances. Currently, the ███ █████ anomaly has taken over the individual formerly known as ██████ █████ . A new instance of the Tad Seeth anomaly appears to form approximately once every one to two years, during what will be further referred to as a “Contamination event”.

A contamination event occurs exclusively during a game of Internet League Blaseball, it is unclear what distinguishes a game which contains a contamination event from any other game of baseball, other than the fact that the Tad Seeth anomaly must be present.

During a contamination event, one watcher of the game, whether they are a fan of the team that Tad Seeth is currently playing on or not, will become the next target of ███ █████. During the following weeks, the target of the anomaly will undergo many changes, they are as follows.

First, the target will lose the ability to read the name “Tad Seeth” as anything but “███ █████”. Secondly, the target will begin to experience disorientation in their day to day life and an increased interest in Tad Seeth, ██ ████ ██ ███ █████████ ███████ ██ █████ Third, the target will begin to experience anterograde amnesia, but only with subjects not related to Blaseball, ████ ██████ ████████ ██ █████, or Tad Seeth Fourth, over a period of two days, the target will forget all memories of anything other than information about Tad Seeth, and they will begin referring to themselves as such. Fifth, as soon as the previous two days are over, the former Tad Seeth will die, and the new Tad Seeth will join a different blaseball team from the one the previous Tad Seeth was on.

Parallel to this, all individuals who formerly knew the target will forget the target’s previous identity, and remember them exclusively as Tad Seeth, it is this widespread cognito-hazardous behavior that is the most dangerous aspect of Tad Seeth. Records of the individual in their former state, however, will remain unchanged.

Tad Seeth entities exhibit severely impaired at blaseball, and other motor skills that require dexterity and physical strength. As well as a significantly decreased lifespan (One to two years). It is hypothesized that the extremely short lifespan of Tad Seeths, as well as the inhibited blaseball skill is caused by the severe physiological strain that results from the complete restructuring of the target’s nervous system for the purposes of playing blaseball. Extensive muscle atrophy and damage to the synapses of the CNS have been observed and noted as corroboration for this theory.

There are many factors that influence the creation of further Tad Seeth entities, however, the most significant one is █████████ █████████ ██ ███ ███ █████ ███████, for this reason, portions of this text have been redacted for reader safety. Currently, there is no known way to prevent the process of a target, once contaminated, becoming a Tad Seeth, however, this is not seen as an issue, as blaseball is a splort enjoyed by many.

IDK how to do IRMs n stuff but uhhh this is cool and I put effort into this i hope you like it lol.

Career

Before starting Blaseball, Tad Seeth originally found fame on the app Tlik Tlok as a part of the content generation team “Tha Coop.” He became so popular that in 2021 he was described by Tim’s Magazine as “America’s most notorious catboy influencer.” At the time of the article, he had amassed a little over eight million followers. His most liked videos were short clips of him lip syncing and gyrating to popular pop audios.

Tad Seeth began his Blaseball career by signing a contract with the Charleston Shoe Thieves, where it was speculated he would remain as a benched player. This move came as a surprise to his fans, who were not aware that Tad had an interest in splorts. In a now-deleted video, Tad had the following to say about his decision to join the Thieves: “I’m calling it now: splorts careers are the new music careers. I’m just ahead of the curve.”

After signing his initial contract with the Thieves, Tad Seeth would disappear before his postseason even started. While there was much speculation about his strange disappearance, neither Tad nor any of the members of the “Tha Coop” would comment until Tad reappeared for his first batting season with the Miami Dale. Many Dale fans were outraged with Tad, as his appearance led to the shadowing of team favorite Caleb Novak for the rest of the season. After batting his first game, Tad recorded a video for Tlik Tlok where he stated “I’m back, b*tches. But I’ve got an NDA besties, so don’t ask where I’ve been <3.”

Local party scientist and fellow teammate Jomgy Rlosenthal, when questioned about the surprise addition of Tad to her team, said “I’m still figuring out how he made the heart sound with his mouth. How did he do that?”

Time With the Miami Dale

In June 2021, Tad Seeth was named “The Most Hated Dale Player” in local paper Miami Gerald, which was a new award created specifically for Tad. One inside source from the Miami Gerald stated that “we really weren’t going to do it. But we got SO many write-ins from fans demanding that we do it. It was insane. They filled the entire mail room. They didn’t stop until we published that article, and even then we got letters stating that we didn’t go in hard enough.”

When Tad was questioned about this award, he simply stated “I don’t pay attention to the haters. They’ve just got horrible vibes, and they want to take it out on the successful people.”

Fellow teammate Trinity Smaht was also interviewed for the article, where she was quoted as saying “ Oh my god, that dude sucks. He’s so bad. He’s always making Tlik Tloks instead of playing defense. Oh, and get this: when he first got on the team, he saw Stout, and he said ‘Gross, who brought their gator?’ Who DOES that!? I thought Stout was going to murder him.” Stout Schmidt was also interviewed for the article, and her recorded growling sounds filled up a full two pages of the paper.

Mr. Wide held a press conference shortly after Tad’s start with the team after fans started chanting “The Dale HATE Tad Seeth” and “Bring Back the Moss” during every game. During the conference, Mr. Wide stated that “We originally thought Tad Seeth would be a strong addition to the team, but it seems that there was a breakdown in communication between us and Tad’s management team.”

Shortly after this conference, a now-deleted video surfaced where Tad admitted that he had lied about his stars to get on the team. “It’s not about how you actually play,” he stated, “but how you THINK you play. Mind over matter, sweetie.”

After only half a season on the Dale, Tad Seeth was revoked from the team and signed with the Philadelphia Pies.

"Bad Beat,
Tad Seeth"

- Liquid Friend

Seeth the Soulless, also known as Tad Seeth, is a boss in Blaseball. He was introduced in the Expansion Era: Secret Base DLC.

Location

Encountered first in the Secret Base and a second time in the Shadows, after which Seeth the Soulless will begin to freely roam between Ballparks.

Overview

Through the entire battle, Seeth the Soulless will summon groups of Consumers to attack. The Consumers will continue to follow you through each phase, dealing consistent damage and putting you at risk of being Redacted back to the Secret Base.

With such a low DIV attribute, Seeth's attacks consist mainly of easily counterable, low-damage Singles, Doubles, and Walks.

Strategies

During the first and second encounters, Seeth the Soulless is a passive boss and immune to most methods of attack. In the first phase he will simply wait to be batted in, attracting him to home base will initiate the second phase. In the second phase he will not directly attack, but swarms of Consumers will alert you of his presence. In the third phase he will become active and continue summoning Consumers.

Seeth the Soulless is a much easier fight with proper preparations. As always, stock up on Soul Patches before taking him on. The replica ally summons Liquid Friend and Uncle Plasma have incredibly powerful counterattacks to fend off the Consumers, giving you enough space to deal as much damage as you can to Seeth the Soulless himself. Like most bosses in Blaseball, he is highly vulnerable to the Fire element.

If you are not able to acquire the summons for Liquid Friend and Uncle Plasma, there are some alternative strategies: Try to bait the Consumers into attacking Seeth himself. This deals massive damage, and forces Seeth the Soulless to retreat back into the Secret Base, allowing you to reattempt each encounter. Alternatively, afflicting him with the Negative status effect will, for the most part, force the Consumers to dissipate, making the fight much easier.

A secret strategy was recently discovered involving the Alternate cast, which will recruit him as an ally and unlock the Tame Tad achievement.

Successfully defeating Seeth the Soulless will award you with the Defeat Seeth achievement, but the Tame Tad achievement will be unattainable.

Additionally, it is possible to avoid the fight altogether by casting Revoke or Exchange. However, doing this will not reward you with any loot drops.

Achievements

  • Attraction: Survive the first encounter with Seeth the Soulless.
  • Voicemail: Survive the second encounter with Seeth the Soulless.
  • Eviction: Successfully cast Revoke on Seeth the Soulless.
