Talk:Slosh Truk

Slosh's IRM is out of date/broken. The IRM type will be "filebox" as Slosh currently has I think one or two entries.

While I am not confident I can write a full IRM entry for Slosh Truk, I will leave some notes I've jotted down about xyr character here so there's a basis for if anyone else wants to take a crack at it, or for if I return to this some other time.

• xe/xyr pronouns (Xyr name is Slosh Truk. Xe is a batter for the Atlantis Georgias. I am a big fan of xyr.)
• Outside of Blaseball, is a businessperson named Josh Turk. Nearly everything about xyr is completely unnotable. I feel there's a bit of room to explore this side of the character more, but I don't have too much written down at the moment. Open to ideas!
• Bearer of a curse that transforms them into a RADICAL OOZE MASCOT named Slosh Truk when on the blaseball diamond.
  • (For context, Ooze is a beverage appreciated by the Georgias, if it even counts as a beverage. It is actual Ooze from the ocean floor, which is from as far as I can tell, a mixture of ocean sediment and dead plankton matter. It has been artificially given a number of different flavors and is a delicacy in Atlantis.)
• The exact cause of Slosh's curse is completely unknown. Different explanations seem to be given by different members of the team.
  • Some theorize it is a malfunction with the portal that summoned Battery McKinley, leading to the average Josh Turk being fused with xyr alternate counterpart.
  • Some theorize it has some correlation with Neerie McCloud being moved to the shadows at the same time xe joined the team.
  • Some theorize it is simply the result of a sponsorship deal. The curse is in xyr contract.
• Outside of blaseball, xe can not remember xyr time spent as Slosh Truk, meaning xe can not explain anything about xyr curse xyrself.
• Slosh Truk always bats using a skateboard. If the skateboard breaks, xe is able to summon another, seemingly at will. Xe is always seen carrying a skateboard, but has never been seen actually riding one.
• After games, xe always drives into the stadium inside a large van full of Ooze called the Slosh Truck. Xe is never seen with the Slosh Truck at any other time, so it's assumed that like the skateboard, it can be summoned at will. Slosh uses this to give Ooze to thirsty fans, as well as handing out merchandise.
