Posting this on behalf of Elliot! UPDATE: The author has asked for this update to not go through. I will leave this here for future reference, but nothing here will move to Holloway's main page. Thank you for your consideration!

Over siesta the Firefighters came up with some fun new lore about Peanut Holloway surrounding his time in Chicago. TL;DR: Peanut Holloway learns to firefight and, in the absence of the Shelled One, the peanuts contained within his body slowly began to convert to items associated with his time in Chicago.

Full text is as follows:

Time in Chicago

Peanut Holloway crash-landed just outside of the Blean alongside Peanutiel Duffy after the events of Season 10, Day X. The two were soon discovered and taken to the Firehouse by the Chicago Firefighters. Holloway was given a room of his own in the cellar[1] and plenty of time to think on what he wanted to do. When asked why the Firefighters were alright with having two members of the Shelled One’s PODS in their city, Joshua Butt responded: "I don't care if they worked for The Shelled One. If you crash land in Chicago, you're from Chicago. Duffy and Holloway are part of our team now." At the time, Holloway did not provide any follow-up comment.

After weeks of what he would later would term personal contemplation, including time spent exploring the Chicago area, shadowing on-duty firefighters, and assisting Kennedy Rodgers in installing upgrades to one of the fire trucks, Holloway made the decision to stay in Chicago for at least the next season. At that moment, he later claimed in an interview, he heard alarm bells ring in the back of his mind, which he identified as The Call.

The team celebrated by throwing Holloway a party, which was interrupted when someone left a burner on. Holloway took the opportunity to showcase his new skills, putting out the fire with ease. He has since been deemed “an upstanding member of the team” as well as “a pretty cool guy. Like, just nice to be around, you know?” by Chicago citizens and fellow Firefighters alike.

When Holloway arrived in Chicago, his invisible body was filled to the brim with floating peanuts. As he grew increasingly acclimated to his surroundings and his new team, the peanuts began to transform into other objects, including hot dogs and miniature versions of Chicago’s famous Blean. Holloway has a habit of taking inventory of the contents of his body every morning.

The current contents of Peanut Holloway’s body include W peanuts, X Bleans, Y miniature Chicago-style hotdogs, and Z other assorted objects.

[1] - Refer to pregame ritual.

Temporary footnote: the variables W, X, Y and Z will be replaced by random choose functions that select numbers of different magnitude! W will be in the low thousands, X in the high hundreds, Y in high tens, and Z in dozens or less. This choose function will be IRM-compatible should there be a need for the IRM on Holloway in the future.

I visited the Pies with this ~3:30 PST 3/3. Proposed edits were as follows:

  • Mention scientific/chemistry background, as applicable to firefighting
  • Diversify the list of things in Holloway (this will likely expand into a full list)

Edits will be made within the next few hours.

Update: The author of this draft has asked for this edit to not go through. The Firefighters will revise and regroup; consider this talk post void. Thanks!
