During the month of October 2021, which the Jazz Hands fans on the Blaseball Discord jokingly called "Ogtober," said fans came up with more complete lore for Ogden Mendoza. The existing lore on the page concerning Ogden's connection to Lars Mendoza and the paragraph concerning the melting point of marble will remain, but will be rewritten to fit new lore. A summary of new lore concepts is as follows:
- Ogden is made out of the same marble as the Tower/The Pit, allowing em to move when unobserved while being vulnerable to stabilization via Ghost Lights
- Ey speak in poetic verse that is difficult to understand the relevance of, is enigmatic, and overall kind of weird and sometimes vaguely threatening
- Bizarre and impersonal behavior
- Was discovered in The Pit, forced into place via Ghost Lights. Removed and recruited into Blaseball
- Upon eir creation, Ogden was technically alive in the way all structures made from Pit Marble are, but not sentient. Ey moved without intention or thought.
- Accidentally killed eir creator, who was named Mendoza, taking on eir creator's life energy, which have the marble ey are composed of enough energy to have thoughts and motivations and move with purpose
- Ogden's creation was a hubris venture by a creator looking to make a novel statue out of pit marble that could move in a controlled manner
- Is vulnerable to stabilization via Gazing Agate, a mineral that grows and is found in The Pit which has stabilizing properties.
- Absorbing Lars Mendoza's life energy is connected to Ogden absorbing the life energy of eir creator, but the specifics of why and how this is the case is unknown.
