Niq is frequently mentioned on Nanci Grackle's proposed IRM as an academic rival, highlighting the clashing dynamic of the two, with Niq generally remaining grounded and playing things safe, whereas Nanci generally tends towards mad science, showing little concern towards others. Hi! I Wanted to propose a small edit to Niq's section on being the "anchor" of Atlantis, specifically the state of the role after her incineration. Ahoy, everyone! Earlier today, I finished writing a wiki article for Niq Nyong'o! As our team's captain and lead-off batter, I wanted to make sure this article was written just right, so I'm hoping the end result turned out well! And here's a quick summary:

Niq Nyong'o is a Kenyan marine biologist, oceanographer, author, and Blaseball player. She is the captain of the Atlantis Georgias, and the wife of Flattery McKinley. Left stranded at sea due to a shipwreck in the middle of a research expedition, she was taken to be healed in Atlantis. She discovered she had a knack for Blaseball when playing it to acclimate to her prosthetic arm, and between this and her research efforts, decided she'd live in Atlantis full-time, using her knowledge about marine biology and bioengineering to adapt to life underwater.

Her calm and organized personality made her the captain of the Atlantis Georgias, leading to her organizing a research team to study the Blaseball gods. After a whole lotta redacted text, the Georgias descend, and have a new goal, to figure out what the hell happened while they were gone.

Nyong'o is somewhat of an "anchor" that seems to ground the multiversal nature of Atlantis in place, and as such doesn't have the same degree of variation the other members of the team do. However, after being swept Elsewhere in Season 17 and returning Scattered, teammates noticed slight variations in her, which imply alternate versions of Niq do exist, and are just not commonly witnessed. After discussing it a bit with the rest of the team, Niq's page likely won't use IRM as heavily as every other member of the Georgias, but will still be used in some capacity to catalogue these slight variations.

If there's any feedback you could offer, it'd be much appreciated! Since we're diverging a bit from our usual format for Niq in particular, I want to make sure I get as much consensus from the rest of the team as possible, to make sure it matches what we've been viewing for her. Thanks!!
