The Garages recently held a lore jam to make an interpretation of Mcdowell Karim that was explicitly Muslim and Arab and that did not involve magic or precognition, and came up with this interpretation of Karim, who is a detective and meteorologist studying the mysteries of coffee weather.

Lenji is mentioned as working with Karim on studying the salmon weather patterns of the Salmon Spire.

Hi! I've written up a draft wiki page for Marion based on a previous lore jam in Garages channels: here. It mentions Lenji in that they work with Marion and Layna on the Salmon Spire.

Lenjamin Zhuge is mentioned on the page of new Sunbeam Borg Ruiz!! Fulltext of Bo's page can be found here but the relevant section is as follows:

"While visiting the Seattle Aquarium to watch one of the bi-weekly river otter duels, Ruiz happened to meet Lenjamin Zhuge, the brilliant^{[citation needed]} mind behind the event when Ruiz attempted to pocket their staff ID. Ruiz argued that if Zhuge needed it, they should not have left it hanging from the sign for the octopus exhibit and that it would be such a nice addition to Ruiz's current deck. Upon seeing the mismatched deck, Zhuge excitedly pulled out their equally bizarre tarot deck and the two became fast friends after spending the rest of the otter duel showing off their favorite cards to one another."

Lenjamin Zhuge is mentioned on Wanderlust's proposed page update (found here: Topic:Wclabnjil5m7th9g) as an occasional visitor to Wanderlust's shop, where they offer tarot readings.

Those of us on the blaseball discord finally got some lore written up for Lenji. Highlights include:

-Chinese American, nonbinary trans masc they/them

-They are a Marine Biologist/cryptozoologist who works at the seattle aquarium

-They were at the stadium the day of The Game, they knew something was going to happen at the game due to a reading they got from their mismatched tarot deck

-The name Lenjamin is a result of Sparks combining of their American and Chinese names (Benjamin and Liren) after a discussion about it when getting coffee

-Seeing Sparks use they/them helped them in their gender journey (“wait, thats a thing?”)

-Wasn't really a blaseball person before this.

-Has a flagrant disregard for keep out signs.

We wanted to explore what Lenji's becoming an alternate meant for them, and came up eith the idea that after a trip to Shark Seattle with Alaynabella and Wyatt Mason X, they came back a little different. Specifically, interacting with the water too much caused them to take on some subtle Shark like changes, such as sharp teeth. Proposed additions can be found at the bottom of this document.
