hello! given that ephraim's three irms were built upon a core idea of them being an astronaut (angel), i think "Unified Concept" would be a suitable format for the irm installation!

more info can be found here but tl;dr

The Many Faces of Ephraim Ladd

According to the Interdimensional Rumor Mill, some things never change, even across dimensions. Someone, somewhere, decided to catalog all the different versions of Ephraim Ladd in an Ephraim Registry, but today the version from IF-#60.881 is playing. Here’s what the rumors say…

Community-created Ladd Lore (IRM?)

Ephraim Ladd is an angelic astronaut, usually seen clad in his spacesuit with a cracked helmet. Ladd's wings protrude from his suit, and a light shines around the helmet (although his features remain obscured behind the cracked glass).

Ephraim Ladd has aspects of the "Team Dad," a friendly caretaker and guardian of other Worms. Eph has a knack for knowing just the right thing to say and do. Some swear that peering closely into his visor will seem to reveal the face of whoever would be most calming to that person in this time. Otherwise, Ladd tends to be a quiet but friendly presence around the Wormhole.

Ephraim has no memory of where he came from originally - all he can recall is drifting away from a space mission, lost and disoriented. When he recovered his senses, he became away of his new angelic personage, which allowed a speedy return home.

On the rare occasion that Ladd removes his helmet, he is observed to be a full biblical-style angel, with many, many eyes. However, he remains a reassuring presence, despite his unusual appearance.

G'dirt! I would like to add another IRM about Ephraim's adventures as a space EMT before they became a blaseball player.

it includes a reference to amogus (sorry) and pirates. there's some implied death in here. my user wiki page contains the full thing.

Ephraim Ladd's First IRM (proposal)

Pinebank (talkcontribs)

An SCP mock-up/stylized entry. Kind of like That One Baldwin Breadwinner IRM.

There'd be:

  1. Object Class - Euclid
  2. Special Containment Procedures -. Ephraim is headcanoned to be kept under surveillance with rotating staff and get tested for peanut allergies.
  3. Standard Description
  4. CLEARANCE LEVEL/WARNING
  5. Physical Description with more details - angel from Book of Isaiah with memory loss.

Basically, Ephraim Ladd is a six-winged angel haunting an old spacesuit under study in the Wapakoneta Air, Space, and ████ Museum.

Here is the image of what the SCP mockup looks like (written by gfelt on discord) https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/751511223304061049/820700985323814962/image0.png

[for future IRM purposes] This will be a full IRM so when the page is refreshed, a completely separate entry should show up.

Mennonite representation

No. MENNONITE SPACEMAN

Pinebank (talkcontribs)

Hi, I'm having trouble deciphering the meaning of this comment (the capslock and the period are throwing me off, ngl). I didn't know what "mennonite" meant until tonight (I'm not particularly religious in any way), but I still can't tell if I should Not go through with this entry and I'm not sure on what I should change. (Is it the "Book of Isaiah" thing? The six-wing angel detail? I truly have no clue what is offensive about it and I would like more clarification, please.)

Edit: oops, I didn't realize this was a totally different thread. Sorry! It's my first time using this particular wiki.

Pinebank, I believe this is a separate proposal that Zaratustra wants to add to Ladd's page. Presumably this would be part of the IRM you're proposing in your own post.

Zaratustra, assuming this is an independent proposal, this is far from sufficient for anyone to know what you're trying to propose. Please consult our collaboration policy for more information about what we expect.
