Gonna remove the JHLore banner & the fake IRM; the Discord community's talking about whether we'll need to bring them back, but for now they're just clashing w/ wiki standards.

All I can really say is oops, I realized this a couple weeks back and its been stuck in my head since, so I'm here to fix it

I would like to change Ridge Street Kitchen in the Adventures Elsewhere section of Dervins page to Bridge Notes Kitchen, to remove mention of a real world place that I left in my draft and made it to the wiki, also to create a jazz pun

The Hands finally got together on the main Discord and put together a lore summary for Dervin, as follows:

General: Dervin Gorczyca is a Polish brown bear & food critic, who brings a refined palette to dumpsters & fine dining alike. Dervin uses bearself pronouns. Bear fashion consists of a "radical 90s" (i.e. bright neons in geometric block patterns) ski jacket and no pants, an aesthetic bear was introduced to as part of an attempt to appeal to The Youths (though bear also just likes the style).

History: Prior to Blaseball, Dervin gained fame as a high-brow Poland-based food critic who occasionally toured the EU with bear show, *The Dervin Derby*. Bear family was in Breckenridge, however, and bear loved to snowboard, so to end bear career bear hosted a guest season of *Dumpsters, Drive-ins, and Dives*, ending the run in Breckenridge to retire with bear family. While in Breck, bear family introduced bear to Blaseball & the Jazz Hands, and bear fell in love with the splort. This ultimately led bear to step up to the plate after Combs was incinerated.

Personality: currently undefined, though ideas of "equally enthusiastic about Michelin Star meals and their dumpsters" and "favors bear more posh *The Dervin Derby* personality to the character bear put on for *Dumpsters, Drive-ins, and Dives* are circulating.

Motivations: having an exciting retirement snowboarding in Breckenridge and playing Blaseball

Other core concepts: Bear runs the bases on all fours, though some argue bear is slower than one might expect of a bear due to bear sedentary lifestyle.

Here's a quick summary

Dervin Gorczyca is a Polish brown bear who lives in Breckenridge with bears family members, many of whom frequent the stands of The Pocket. Outside of Blaseball, bear enjoys snowboarding and visiting the restaurants around Breckenridge, Dervin also plays the hurdy gurdy. Bear wears a 90s era ski suit with no pants. Before joining the Jazz Hands Dervin hosted the show The Dervin Derby where bear showered equal praise upon Michelin star restaurants and the restaurants’ garbage bins. Bear also later guest hosted Dumpsters, Drive-ins, and Dives ending the show’s tour of the US in Breckenridge where Dervin announced bear would be retiring and living in Breckenridge from now on. In retirement Dervin’s family introduced bear to Blaseball and bears home team the Jazz Hands. When Combs was incinerated, bear stepped up to the plate to replace them.
