Amos is mentioned in an update to Cudi's page: "Di Batterino was immediately befriended by scientist and horticulturist Amos Melon, who introduced him to the Underarena in The Gleek and the garden within. Di Batterino and Melon have planned and completed several expeditions into the Underarena and the labyrinth."

Amos is mentioned in an update for Goobie: "He developed a fast friendship with Amos Melon, who was similarly upbeat and excited to make new friends on the pitching rotation. While Ballson would never claim to have favorite friends, he and Melon spent plenty of time together. The two of them were key to the social life on the Talkers and got along with everyone."

Time with Moist Talkers

Hailing from the Herbalism, Occult Studies, Cryptozoology and Kymatology (H.O.C.K) Institute of Saskatchewan, Melon joined the team to study various aspects of Halifax, especially the Gleek Arena. Content with joining the team as a part of the shadows, Melon immediately began exploring the Underarena, both to discover various unique fauna and collect samples for “Rituals”. Melon can often be found sporting a pouch filled with various flora and occasionally a diving suit used to plumb the extremely damp depths of the Underarena. She has shown interest in even deeper dives into the damp labyrinth, going so far as to say that her return to the shadows is inevitable.

Having joined the active roster officially in Season 17, Melon has put a concerted effort towards improving her pitching ability, working with teammate, Jenkins Good, to learn the ropes of pitching within The Gleek. Despite a first impression that was described by teammate Ziwa Mueller as “ominous but weirdly earnest” Melon has ingratiated herself quite well with the Talkers, her self assured and occasionally cheeky attitude meshing well with the group dynamic. Despite now having responsibilities on the mound, Melon has continued her Cryptozoological study after discovering that many of the players on opposing Blaseball teams are essentially Cryptids. Melon can often be found in the opposing dugouts during games she is not pitching in, interviewing and cataloguing her opponents.

Trivia: Melon was featured on teammate Lachlan Shelton’s food blog the “Talker’s Takeout” after sharing some of her family’s signature “Moist Lechon” dishes. Melon played Flootball temporarily in highschool and was known for her “killer tackle”. Melon is part of teammate Ziwa Muellers’ Roller Derby team the Spit Takers.
