Observed is a Player Modification, first seen during the Coffee Cup. The modification would later return in Season β15 with different mechanics.
Effects
During the Coffee Cup, Players with the Observed Modification had a chance of becoming Percolated during games, being removed from their Team's roster.
Throughout the Expansion Era and as of Season β24, Players with the Observed Modification have a chance of becoming Redacted after playing a game under Coffee, Coffee 2, or Coffee 3s weather, or would become Redacted after entering into a Secret Base.

The Coffee Cup
The Observed modification was first seen during the Coffee Cup, with every Player on the Real Game Band having the modification with a Permanent duration.
The effects of the modification were seen during the first day of the tournament, when Game Band hitter GM became Percolated during the bottom of the 3rd inning.

Over the course of the Coffee Cup, 12 Game Band players were Percolated, including then-Commissioner Parker MacMillan IIII.

During the Season β14 election, players York Silk and Chorby Soul returned to active play as a result of necromancy, gaining the Returned and Debt modifications. While Debt had been seen before, the effects of this Debt weren't known until Season β15, Day 2, when York Silk hit a flyout to player Wyatt Glover of the Yellowstone Magic.
