My Roomie Ruslan Klickstarter

At the end of Season 12, Woodman launched a campaign on the crowd-funding site Klickstarter to finance the creation of My Roomie Ruslan: The Second Act. The series planned to feature Greatness moving in with Lang Richardson, resulting in an amusing reversal where Ruslan would be the one being annoyed by his roommates quirks and odd behavior.

The Klickstarter was a runaway success raising several times more than its initial goal. However the project soon ran into problems. At a recent game Richardson had thrown away a box of fellow player Yusef Puddles's dolphin masks because "they ruined the dugout's mise-en-scéne." In retribution, Puddles hacked into the Klickstarter project and changed the end date to always be one week in the future. Since the pledged money would only be transferred at the project's end, Woodman was left without a way to access the funds he had raised.

The ever-changing end date did little to slow the rate of pledges and the amount raised continued to inrease. Unsure what else to do, Woodman began adding stretch goals to the project. At first these goals included things like filming a bonus Christmas episode and upgrading the sets, but as they kept being reached the stretch goals became increasingly outlandish, such as cloning Ruslan or electing Richardson mayor of Philadelphia.

At some point over the decade-long Grand Siesta flans began to pledge things other than money to the project, including blood, souls, and secret names. The project is well on its way to meeting the next stretch goal of "turning Philadelphia into a shining utopia on a hill." Financial analysts worry that should the Klickstarter campaign ever end the resulting collection of pledged money and spiritual materials will result in an economic and metaphysical disaster in the greater Philadelphia area.

As with many revivals targeted for an all ages audience, My Roomie Ruslan's revival decided to focus not just on Ruslan and his new roommate Lang Richardson, but on the next generation of Greatnesses. However despite the decade long break between the two, Ruslan had not obtained any children. Various attempts were made to cast young actors as Ruslan's offspring, but Ruslan seemed confused by the concept and would regularly state on camera that the child actor was not related to him. Eventually the producers and Ruslan came to a compromise and one of many many birds that Ruslan had raised was cast as his son. While this means that Ruslan's son is incapable of speech or following any sort of plot, he does look very cute in his little hat. Reviews of the revival have been mixed

Ruslan-Senpai is My New Roommate?!

Ruslan-Senpai is My New Roommate?! Is an animated comedy tv show made in the style of Japanese anime. The only known copy of the show was found on an unmarked VHS tape lying in the Pies locker room. It appears to be someone’s attempt at making a spin-off of My Roomie Ruslan.

The show stars anime versions of the Philly Pies team, all of whom are voiced by the same unknown individual speaking in falsetto. The main character is Philling-chan, a young pastry who moved into the big city in pursuit of her dream of playing blaseball. Philling-chan goes to try out for the Philly Pies, but Hinkie-sensei only hires her as a towel boy. Undeterred, she vows to prove her worth to the team, but problems arise when she arrives back at her apartment to find Ruslan-senpai sleeping on her couch. What will the team think if they find out about her new roommate?!

What happens next on the show is unknown as 10 minutes into watching the tape the Pies team ejected it and had it ritually burned. It is not known who made Ruslan-Senpai is My New Roommate?! but judging by the insider knowledge it references the creator must be someone on the team.

“No one here admitted to making this… thing, but one of them has to be lying.” Said Woodman, before a look of horror crept across his face. “Unless the Philling made it, but’s that’s impossible… right?” When asked for comment the Philling merely clicked it’s heels and skedaddled out of the room.
