Background

Mira Lemma is a foundry demon, a humanoid species not uncommon within the Core. Foundry demons are easy to recognize by their sturdy frame, horns, tail, and striking skin tones that typically range between pale pinks and dark cherry reds. This species also has some unique dietary needs for metals in addition to those more common in other humanoid species as well as some inorganic features consistent with its metallurgical origins. Many of the species have specific metals they prefer to eat, affecting blood color and minor physical traits. Lemma prefers copper and her blood is bluish due to this preference.

Lemma was always interested in bloxing in addition to hard mathematics and sciences alike. Her parents had discouraged her interest in the first, citing its brutish heritage even with modern DOWN-compliant practices and safety features, but Lemma was not one who could sit still in her passions. While Lemma was participating and thriving in the Minor Leagues of the prestigious splort of Blaseball, she found her true calling in bloxing, which she had continued to hide from her parents. For years this was her life, blaseball in view of her parents and bloxing in her time alone until her first Welderweight Championship victory; even with the comparative obscurity of bloxing, news had reached her parents who were conflicted. It wasn’t until after her second Welderweight Championship belt that Lemma joined the ILB, leading off for the Core Mechanics.

Hobbies

Mira Lemma is a restless individual who needs to keep her mind and her hands busy. Even now retired from professional bloxing, Lemma competes casually to keep active in the offseason. Her experience in combat sports has brought about a great deal of heuristic competence in the treatment of physical injuries. While she has a history of many other manual crafts, lately Lemma has been making full use of her new machining workshop, making small and large mechanical devices and replacements alike.
