Lottie Ceilingfan is a lineup player for the Hades Tigers first spotted in Season β21. Official ILB records cite their first day of play as Day 4, however numerous eyewitness accounts claim that Ceilingfan was spotted on that field prior that day.

Fellow Tigers player Famous Owens, a popular but notorious raccoon, had been sighted again during season 20 after the Ampitheatre’s Voicemail was built. Notably, the now larger racoon returned as a lineup player instead of the pitcher they had been since Season 1. Besides an increase in their published hitting ability, observers noted various changes to the player. This included being sighted with what appeared to be a small opossum on their back with no explanation. Many fans and journalists have compared the image to juvenile opossums clinging on to the backs of their parents.

When Tigers captain Hiroto Wilcox was asked about the relationship between Owens and the then unknown opossum, they replied with the following quote:

“That’s a racoon and an opossum, why would you think they’re blood related? Nah, Owens would be a terrible parent, Lottie keeps falling off their back and they don’t even care. Did you know how many insects we had to catch to feed them? A lot! Not me though. I’m the captain."

The opossum was officially announced on Season 21, Day 4 when Tiger Zion Aliciakeyes was seen dialling on her phone while on the field. Seconds later, the opossum detached from Owens, a bat in their mouth and was officially referred to as Lottie Ceilingfan. Initially a juvenile opossum, Hades fans watched as the young blaseball player grew up over the season. On Day 34, they were seen climbing into a flip phone and voicemailed out. Ceilingfan was later voicemailed back in for player Irnee Bluesky and appears to become fully grown.

Despite being a rookie, many have praised Ceilingfan’s blasketball skills, frequently alley-ooping after Owens to score an additional run for the Tigers. Between or during games, the two players have been frequently seen engaging in Owen’s favorite activity- digging through the trash and hissing at various fans and members of the team. Ceilingfan appears to take this one step further and has sneaked onto the stands to ask for fans’ concessions. Despite loud pleas from management not to feed her, fans have delighted in getting Ceilingfan to accept their offered snacks.
