History

Lori Boston grew up in ███████, in the Lori Province of Armenia. A Yerevan State University dropout, she was a member of her local furry community, a burgeoning voice actress, and took part in volunteering for anime conventions. On weekends, she could often be found in Yerevan, DJing at the biggest clubs.

On ███, 20xx, Boston received a link from a group of her peers recommending a new up and coming website, Blaseball.clom. Boston reports going to the website, signing up, and being presented with a text box. It read:

[Congratulations, you have been selected as a new team player for the Garages. Please read the Terms of Service and this Contract, and click the boxes to continue.]

Boston reported clicking the boxes without paying the two documents any mind. The screen then changed to the Seattle Garages logo laid upon a ticket, with the words "Thank you, Lori Boston! You are now participating in the Cultural Event of Blaseball." appearing above it. Boston was then whisked to Seattle by a man driving an interdimensional tour bus.

When Boston stepped off the bus with Durham Spaceman, the team appeared surprised to see her. They had reportedly been left out of the Corporeal outreach promo code discussion by upper management, but Boston took to them quickly. She has since been dubbed an honorary cat girl by the two catfolk on the team, and insists in pitching in her fursuit, a marbled polecat by the name of Dotty.

Boston is known for her outgoing nature, along with her fashion sense. When she stepped off the bus with Spaceman, she opted to wear her fursuit, not wanting Spaceman to feel awkward about their suited appearance. When she's not in fursuit, Boston dresses in all manner of clothing, her favorite genres being crust-punk and cozy goth, though she's been known to add kawaii elements to even the darkest of her ensembles.

Mascot Duty

After a season of highs and lows, Boston announced that she would be joining the United Seattle Garages Mascot Union full time and renting a room from the Seattle Shadows Co-op, and stepping down from her position as pitcher for the team. When prompted about the shift, Boston was cited saying, "Pitching for the Garages this season was an incredible adventure, but I wasn't prepared for what Blaseball is like. I mean... between the weather, the evil Peanut, the peanut-eating squid, and the game scheduling... it's too much happening all the time. I didn't even mean to join Blaseball in the first place, so the Mascot Union seems like the perfect place for me after all of that. Safer, too." Boston can now be seen hyping up the crowd in her fursuit at all major home games, alongside cheerleader and former player Nolanestophia Patterson.

Outside of games, Boston can often be found working on a new DJ set, restoring old photographs, trying to teach her fellow Garages how to play backgammon, or helping out in Paula Turnip's greenhouse, where she has potted several plants native to Armenia, including a massive apricot tree.

Trivia

  • Boston was trained as a potter, and will often gift hand-crafted bowls as birthday presents.
  • Boston has been given the keys to the interdimensional tour bus and will often travel back to Armenia to visit her family. She often returns with Tumanyan Street shawarma and several tupperwares full of homemade baked goods, particularly nazouk and choreg, much to the delight of the Garages.
  • Boston has reportedly DJed several shows in Dark Seattle, much to the shock of several of her teammates. When asked why she would enter such a dangerous dimension, Boston said: "What do you mean dangerous? It's no more dangerous than here." When asked for comment, Goodwin Morin stared off into the distance and then walked away.
