Background

The following information was uncovered, documented, and annotated by Lance Serotonin, researcher at The Atlantean Facility for Interdimensional Studies and Hypotheses, as part of an ongoing research project into the history of the Tokyo Adrift.

With the Tokyo Adrfift

Jan Canberra 1667 is a human[citation needed] woman[citation needed] and the second captain of the Tokyo Adrift. Originally from Atlantis[citation needed], Canberra 1667 appears to be a younger version of Canberra 83.52.

According to interviews conducted by Serotonin, Canberra 83.52 recognizes Canberra 1667 as her own body, although she claims to not remember anything specific about the Tokyo Adrift. When prompted, there are events that she remembers hazily, such as the recruitment of ship's dog Cicero Gubbins and the return of her first mate Cudi Di Batterino from the Isle of Spittle.

Canberra 1667 has notable personality similarities to Canberra 83.52, such as a penchant for taking on responsibility but a distaste for the finer details of said responsibility. Canberra 1667 appears fluent in constructed language "Tokyo Pona", a fluency that Canberra 83.52 lacks but expresses interest in. In "Tokyo Pona", Canberra 1667 is known as Jan Lawa pi Lanpan Telo by her companions aboard the Adrift. The origins of this constructed language are lost to history, although a revival began in 20xx.

The fate of the second crew of the Adrift is unknown. Research is ongoing. Although previous research has shown a loose correlation between the crew of the Tokyo Adrift and the composition of the Tokyo Lift, the fact that Canberra 1667 seems to have captained the Adrift for a prolonged period of time indicates that this correlation was weaker after the Strongbody Incident.
