The Abyssal Forge is a makerspace located in Atrium 61. The Forge contains equipment, machines and scrolls for any kind of creating, both technological and magical. Due to safety concerns, more sophisticated equipment used to create sentience or more powerful artifacts are restricted by hotel staff. Please inquire at the front desk for use. The Forge also includes several workstations available for rent. Permanent reservations are held by Walton Sports and Zion Aliciakeyes.

A popular speakeasy on the 10th floor is the Roots of the Sun, a smoothie store ran by the monks of the Shadow Moabbey. A root of Smoothyggdrasil leads to the Hotel, and smoothies are carefully fed into the gilded taps of the Roots.
Most speakeasys are often dimly lit in order to evoke a dark, secretive mood. This describes most of the Hotel and Hades. Instead, and in accordance to Heliolatric practices, the Roots of the Sun is lit to be blinding. It is said that the Roots of the Sun is the only place in Hades where one can feel the "sun".
Aldon Cashmoney claims to have funded this branch of the Shadow Moabbey, proclaiming that ve missed the smoothies as they remind vim of Hellmouth, the first and only time ve nearly ran out of money funding the Sunbeams' every desire. Thankfully, this is impossible.Hotel Umbra/IF-22.78
On Floor 414 is the Jlollibee, famous for fried chicken served with rice and its peach mango pie. Mascot parties are allowed on demand but guests who do not reserve prior ahead of time are not assured of their safety.

The Hotel Umbra contains a branch of the Hades Transit Authority, where guest can renew or apply for driver’s license. Applying in this branch of the Hades Transit Authority will also allow guests to drive on hotel grounds, specific vehicle depending on the type of license they apply for. Go karts do not require licenses in all go kart allowed areas.

While tigers are common guests, and pests, of the Hotel Umbra, the Hotel also contains a few facilities for raccoon sized felines. This includes cat beds, food and a cat door to Chicago the exact size of Socks Maybe. It is often sighted near Room 872, where Thomas Kirby can be seen petting Socks Maybe.

The Coastal can be found in basement 8 and is an eatery dedicated to seaside cuisine from different eras and regions. Despite its location, Coastal contains significant beachfront dining and a beach for restaurant goers to enjoy. While enjoyable, guests are cautioned from swimming too far or they may end up in Atlantis.

The Crossroads Cafe is a tiger cafe run by Ren Morin. The tiger refers to Ren Morin, but also the various retired and young tigers who spend time in the cafe as they are not fit for the tigerpit. The cafe’s opening hours can vary depending on if or how strong Morin’s morning cup of coffee is. Guests can spent their time enjoying a cup of coffee or all matters of drink. ILB Players often make an appearance in the cafe as well as fellow psychopomps.
The cafe serves artisanal coffee and is one of the coffee suppliers for the Hades Tigers practice sessions. Specialties include Ren's Red Eye, Meowcchiato, Catpuccino, Clat White and the Meow Tea Latte.Hotel Umbra/IF-72.42
Under Records is a record store located in Arcade 28, unit 1,374. It contains music in all formats from any era, with a focus on local Hadean talent. Besides its commitment to providing records, it also features listening rooms where one can play any type of musical record on equipment, even those that are rare, out of production or unknown. It doubles as a small performance venue and meeting area. Randy Castillo A can also be often spotted in the blues section.

While a Hadean hotel, the hotel also features various amenities to evoke in guests the experience of being in various beautiful sites such as Baltimore.
A popular hotel in Baltimore is the Clawliday Inn. The hotel would like to assure guests that it is infinitely better than the Clawliday Inn and that if you really want, it guesses you can have a room that is like the Clawliday Inn’s room, but it will suck a lot and that’s your fault because the Hotel Umbra is actually way cooler and fancier than the Clawliday Inn. One of the finest and most exclusive dishes from Tokyo are beef wings. A special partnership with Tokyo has allowed for a beefwing food truck to be sighted on the grounds of the Hotel. It is occasionally manned by Val Hitherto, Dunlap Figueroa or one of the Stephens.

On Hallway 8, Turn 12b of every floor is the fireman's pole. The Fireman's Pole has existed in Hotel Umbra as long as a Tiger has felt The Call. Though not all are currently on the Hades Tiger roster, the pole remains in case it is needed- as once a Stripe, always a Stripe.
Most floors only include the pole and necessary safety rails. At the ground floor of Hotel Umbra, the pole can be found in a corner where it is set against a jewelled mosaic. It depicts the fire diamond, the skyline of Prime Chicago and Carmelo Plums. The pole then continues downwards to the assigned firefighter stations in the Chicagoeth Circle.
The Pole has clear signs proclaiming that it is reserved for Mx. P. Mason, Duffy, NaN, Figueroa, Griffith, Plums, Kirby, Maybe, and Banananana. Like all of us, they are from Chicago.
