History

Born in the part of Chicago sometimes called Joliet to Cantonese and Jewish parents, Tosser's birth caused everyone in Chicago to have painful visions of prophecy. It became known through unclear means that he would be the greatest pitcher in blaseball history. One of Tosser’s many younger sisters was quoted after his historic ground out saying, “I always knew he had it in him. Literally always. I was born with this knowledge and I will die with it.” His eldest describes the birth as “Weird, because I was five and not really that prepared for a clairvoyant episode.”

Unfortunately for the splort of baseball, despite his strong desire to pursue a career as a firefighter[capitalization?], Tosser instead went almost immediately to work in the Joliet cinnamon mines. Many fans and critics of Tosser alike agree that his true talents were wasted in the mines, with many years that might have been spent training in the Underleagues spent bringing delicious, delicious cinnamon to the people of Chicago. It wasn't until years later that player Tyreek Olive discovered Tosser and recruited them as a firefighter. Upon Mx. Chicago’s insistence that Tosser also take up his true calling as a blaseball player, he relented, but demanded to become a batter instead of a pitcher.

Tosser soon came to be known in Chicago as a hard working, salt of the earth, mediocre hitter who “could honestly do better if he just tried a little harder,” one fan is reported as saying. “Like seriously, you could be the greatest pitcher of all time, please just pitch the ball, why do you keep hitting into double plays?”

Tosser never followed up for comment.

After the Season β3 Finals, Tosser woke one morning to the knowledge that violence lived in their heart now. Tosser had become one of the three players on the Firefighters to receive a fragment of Landry Violence's spirit and gain a calming yet mighty new strength.

In the Season β4 elections, Edric Tosser was the subject of the Alternate decree along with teammate Justice Spoon. He is believed to have swapped places with the Edric Tosser of IF/108.18, who took their place. Reports from the current Edric indicate that they now play for the Deerfield Firestarters.

Like all of us, they are from Chicago. Their jersey number is 815.
