Grove Dragon
Appearance
Only one instance of this variant has been reported. The Grove Dragon is an estimated 8m (26ft) in length, with a wingspan of 10m (33ft). It is predominantly viridian in colour, with an off-white underbelly. Its head is vaguely avian, with a narrow snout and large eyes; however, it is adorned with deerlike antlers, and its pupils are oriented horizontally, also akin to a deer. It flies gracefully and silently on bioluminescent wings that glow a soft amber colour. When not in flight, the dragon has been observed to move quadrupedally on gracile limbs, similar to a cervid in gait and posture. Its wings are similar in shape to those of emperor moths, and sport large eyespots. Its tail ends in a large, plantlike bulb in a muted lavender colour, the function of which is currently unknown.
Behaviour
The Grove Dragon appears to be benevolent in nature. It has been observed exhaling a shimmering mist, which upon contact causes flora to become invigorated and ill or wounded fauna to heal. The mist is unable to resurrect deceased organisms, instead causing fungi to grow from them. Because sightings of this dragon are so rare, it is believed that it probably spends most of its time in a nest or den.Core Dragons/IF-26.891
Prism Wyrm
A small dragon, around the size of a domestic cat. Its body is translucent, similar in appearance and refractivity to opalite glass. This allows us to see its internal systems relatively clearly, similar to glass frogs and certain deep-sea organisms. It has six legs, walking on the hind four, and using the front two legs to grasp food (inanimate glass and other translucent minerals). They can be found living around acid pools, in which they sleep for safety, as their bodies are unaffected by the acid. Its wings appear similar to translucent chitin, akin to an insect's wing. They create a rainbow effect when light passes through them.Core Dragons/IF-69.420
Origami Dragon:
A dragon made of entirely paper. Often multicolored, these paper creations seem not to be able to breath neither fire nor unfire. There are currently no reports of Origami Dragons made of plain white paper.Core Dragons/IF-88.404
Flame Dragon
A dragon made of flame with 7 legs. It was last seen climbing a pillar of molten iron. Its long claws were reported to be as tall as the 2 meter explorer who brought this information. When it touched solid stone, the stone quickly melted. It disappeared back into the deep core after sighting.Core Dragons/IF-92.723
Grey Dragon
Living within the steam clouds of the more humid regions of the core the Grey Dragon uses its colouration to blend into its surroundings. This secretive and shy creature, roughly the size of an upworld housecat, is primarily an ambush predator feeding on Oilrats and other small creatures. It is not entirely without danger to larger core denizens however having been known to attack larger creatures if they have already been injured.
