| COMMUNITY LORE|
The remainder of this article contains lore created collaboratively by the Blaseball community.
Charlatan Seabright is a 26 year old trans woman from the Bronx. She is half ghost, on her father's side, resulting in her having ghost bones and haunted blood. Her father haunted the oldest ferry in NYC when she was little, and the infrequent but heartfelt time spent with him lead to her passion for ships and the sea. After her father's ferry was decommissioned, forcing him to pass on, Seabright (age 8) got her friends together to steal a replica 18th century ship, hoping she could sail it off to find him. Since that time, the ship has been frequently modified and upgraded, including refurbishing it into a skyship. The hull is used by local Bronx street artists to showcase their work.
Seabright's family fell on hard times after the passing of her father, which lead to Seabright becoming a staunch anti-capitalist, and a pirate. Her mother disapproves heavily of this, and it causes a lot of tension in their relationship.
When Seabright was young her mother worked several service jobs, but she has since become a paralegal.
While active as a sky-pirate, Seabright befriended a talking pigeon, which she named "Loose Frenchfries" as that is the primary staple of his diet. He acts as Seabright's first mate and best friend.
Charlatan Seabright was an avid blaseball fan prior to joining the Mills, despite having never played a splort in her life. She became the chairwoman of the Bronx division of the Dominic Marijuana fan club and then proceeded to con and steal her way to control the operations of all fan-clubs in the Tri-State Area. (People just let her do it for the most part, because it meant less paperwork for them.)
Charlatan Seabright uses her abilities as a half-ghost to literally bottle up her emotions before games. She usually then proceeds to save these bottled emotions until finding a use for them, whether christening a new ship with a bottle of joy cracked over the prow, lulling herself to sleep with a bottle of tiredness, or simply storing away a bottle of boredom.
She also plays the mandolin, has a collection of swords and old coins, and is frequently suspended from Twitter for voicing her anti-capitalist views.
