Hello Wiki Readers and Contributors, this one is going to be short and to the point. The Crabs have returned from Blaseball 2, and three new teams have joined the league for a total of 24 teams. Additionally, every single team can now build a Ballpark. We've got a few things to cover, so let's started.

New Teams

The new teams (Ohio Worms, Atlantis Georgias, Core Mechanics) are having their pages and all new players locked for the immediate future. This will operate similarly to when the Tokyo Lift joined Blaseball. These teams are allowed first pass on all their players and team lore, and we will be unlocking those for teams at the end of Season 13. Should team cultures establish themselves before Season 13 ends and wish to begin contributing to the wiki, contact admins.

That being said, it is possible that new players generated for these new teams will immediately jump to other teams via any handful of methods, but mostly via the Wills system. Should a new player jump to a pre-existing team, the new team will be able to make lore for the new player, subject to the traditional Talk page post and 24 hour waiting period.

Ballparks

Ballparks are now available for every team in the league. Each ballpark has two names: a formal name, and a nickname. We will be structuring Ballparks on this wiki so that the formal names are the actual articles titles, while redirects will be set up for all the nicknames. Many of your stadiums have been locked already and will remain locked until the Season 13 Latesiesta. For the Crabs, the Crabitat page will be opened once we standardize it.

Ballpark pages will now be structured with formalized infoboxes at the top right, with canonical information at the top, separated by a Community Lore banner, under which your typical lore writing can take place. Fan art can go in the Infobox and in galleries at the bottom. We will be standardizing all these pages this coming week.

The introduction of canonical ballparks does not limit the options for more ballparks on this wiki. Write your hearts out!

Closing

As with all chaotic lore vacuums, we understand the desire to get in on the ground floor and make something from scratch. However, we encourage long time veterans of Blaseball to allow newer players the chance to leave their mark on the lore writing of Blaseball. There's a lot to be excited about, but it's best to take it slow. Just remember...

SOME IS TRUE. SOME IS NOT. ALL IS BLASEBALL.
