The nine days of the week are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Urnsday, and Nersday. They are named after the Germanic names of the planetary deities (the sun, moon, Tiw, Wotan, Thunr, Frige, Saturn, Uranus, and Nerth, respectively) through interpretatio Germanica.
