Voicemail is a Ballpark Modification that will swap the home team's worst batter in the lineup with the best batter in their Shadows when they are shut out. Voicemail was first offered as a renovation in Season β21. It was ratified into Non-Physical Law the same Season it was introduced.
Voicemail was ultimately Nullified by Black Hole (Black Hole) on Season β24, Day 47.
History
Voicemail was first offered in Season β21 with the description "Voicemail will offer you shadow relief, promoting your best Shadows Batter when your Team's Lineup doesn't answer the call."
The Voicemail renovation was constructed in 18 Ballparks and was ratified into Non-Physical Law in the Season β21 latesiesta.
The first recorded Voicemail activation took place on Season β21, Day 73 in the Charleston Shoe Thieves' Ballpark, Choux Stadium. Lineup player Terrell Bradley was replaced by Shadows player Vernon Shotwell after the Shoe Thieves were shut out by the Yellowstone Magic.
