Blaseball Career

While visiting the Choux to watch Stu Trololol play, ae witnessed the incineration of former Shoe Thief pitcher Alejandro Leaf. “Next thing I know, I woke up on the mound, ball in one hand and mitt in the other. The game was over, and I pitched the whole thing”. Since this event, Shotwell quickly discovered that ae acquired an inability to fall asleep outside of when ae was participating in an ILB- sanctioned game. None of the Shoe Thieves players, staff, nor any patrons report any knowledge of the curse’s origin. Despite Shotwell’s many desperate attempts to discover a cause or cure, no lead turned up conclusive.

Personal Life

Due to severe insomnia, Shotwell has abundant time to contribute to aer wide range of hobbies, from tending to aer elaborate Hot Wheels fairy garden, feeding and generally interacting with the gnomes of the choux, arts and crafts, and speedrunning a variety of games on aer triple-cracked NES system. Shotwell’s described as a good company by most teammates, especially at “strange hours of night”.

Shotwell's insomnia has given aer chronic fatigue, and ae are known to sometimes use a cane. Shotwell and teammate Gallup Murphy have bonded over their shared chronic pain, and will often take naps together, (or in Shotwell's case, simply rest,) among a mountain of body pillows that Shotwell keeps around for safety and comfort, and that Murphy uses to take weight off their assortment of limbs.

A rumor that Shotwell was romantically involved with Stu Trololol was confirmed during one of aer 168-hour streamathon on Twlitch. "We met in my hometown, right after all the... (ae waves vaguely overhead) infinite stuff was going on. The local arlchery scene was having some issues and I was just loafing around and.., and i met her. Yeah. We hit it off and dated for a while. Like.. six months? Around that long. We're friends, she and Charla still invite me to the board game night. and the sword game night."

Ae has a tattoo of a camomile flower on aer left forearm, which ae often jokes about being “ironic”.
