Tot Fox is a pitcher for the San Francisco Lovers, and has been with the team since the ILB Semi-Centennial. Fox has previously played for the Breckenridge Jazz Hands, Baltimore Crabs, and Rising Stars.

Official League Records

Fox joined the ILB as a lineup player for the Breckenridge Jazz Hands with the Return of Blaseball.

On Season 3, Day 90, Fox hit a 3-run home run against the heavily favored Hades Tigers to win the game 9-6.

On Season 4, Day 25, Fox was exchanged to the Baltimore Crabs due to Feedback. Fox was replaced by Valentine Games.

During the Season 5 election, Fox received boosts in all ratings as well as a boost in baserunning as a part of the Crabs' Horde Hallucinations and Rollback Netcode blessings.

During the Season 14 elections, Fox received a combined stat change of 13.5 18.3 as a result of the Crabs' Infuse will.

On Season 19, Day 62, Fox was exchanged to the San Francisco Lovers due to Feedback. Fox was replaced by Conner Haley.

During the Season 20 elections, Fox retreated to the Lovers' Shadows in exchange for Kurt Crueller as a result of the Lovers' Swap will. Fox's Flinch modification was then changed into the Affinity for Crows modification by the Lovers' Reform will.

On Season 22, Day 46, Fox rejoined the Lovers' lineup in exchange for Theo King at San Franstadium via the Ratified Voicemail.

During the ILB Semi-Centennial, Fox played for the Rising Stars. Fox then returned to the San Francisco Lovers as a pitcher.

Over the course of Season 24, Fox entered and exited the Lovers' Shadows two times as a result of San Franstadium Fax Machine events, ending the Season on the pitching rotation.

Box of Tot Fox Files

Dust billows as the file box lands on the table. While many archives in the Interdimensional Rumor Mill are unified in some way, this... definitely isn’t one of them. The accompanying Rumor Registry explains all of the contents... wherever it is... but for now you grab the folder labelled IF-29.68 and start reading...

History

Fox is a former All-Star - somewhat past their prime, but a fan favorite nonetheless. Every time Fox comes up to bat, raucous chants of "Too Tot Too Trot" drown out all other sound within 13 parsecs of the Crabitat.

When not playing Blaseball, Fox can often be found sitting on their porch, sipping a Gin Rickey and reading the collected works of █████████.

It is not yet known whether Tot Fox is a human or, in fact, a fox. It is speculated, however, that Fox's theoretical fox form would possess an entire blaseball batt where one would normally have a tail. Online correspondence[1] has confirmed that, fox or not, Fox has the ability to read and write.

After Fox hit the winning run in Season 3 Day 90, they were awarded a whole rotisserie chicken by the team as celebration.

Feedback Transfer to the Crabs

Art by Toasthaste

During a Season 4 Day 25 game against the Baltimore Crabs Tot Fox was caught in the Feedback and swapped to the Crabs, with Valentine Games taking their place on the Jazz Hands.

Local rumours have suggested that during the events of the Feedback, the ever-snipping hand of The Olde One had begun to be felt by Tot Fox. When they took their batting position for the Crabs, they had already been carcinized; emerging as neither entirely human or fox but as an eldritch chimera possessing the bottom half of a giant crab, the torso of a human, and the head of a fox.

The Breckenridge Slummit Daily disputed these rumours, insisting that Tot Fox still looked their normal, ambiguously human, ambiguously fox self. Lead sports reporter Joe Clullinlane was quoted as saying "You can't just stick a fox in a crab outfit and claim they've been carcinized." A response published in the Baltimore Slun by Crabs co-managers Howard and Dwayne suggested that the Clullinlane would face the "wrath of the Mother Crab for this slander".

The Run the Killed the Sun

In game 3 of the season 10 Internet Series Tot Fox batted in teammate Silvaire Roadhouse and scored the 10th run in the final game of the ILB Championships, which triggered a black hole that destroyed both the moon and the sun.

2 Shortly before ascension Tot was caught on video by a fan at the Crabitat where she commented that it "was an accident, and [she was] really quite embarrassed about the whole thing". The background of the shot includes footage of the rest of the Baltimore Crabs celebrating their victory, and Silvaire declaring she is ready to "throw down with any planetary body that's getting too big for its britches".

In Literature

During the Season 4 Day 25 game in which Tox Fox was swapped to the Crabs, Crabs Poet Laureate Runolfio Peeper threw a paper airplane onto the field, which one of the groundskeepers picked up. It had the following scrawled on it:

Tot Fox once fought
For Hands and thought
He'd not Guy Fawkes
Their batter’s box
But he was caught
In feedback talks
And so was brought
To Old Bay’s docks
Now he’ll detox
From jazzy squawks
And earn his shot
A red mascot
That has been wrought
By blaseball’s plot.
